[Solved] desktop menus keep resetting

    I've searched for an answer but no luck. I've installed Thuderbird using the instructions here: http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/11/inst ... e-one.html

    I've seen the logo on the destop, and changed the group-app.xml file to move the logo to the 3rd position, but on next reboot, the menu logos reset themselves. this happened to my VLC icon too. Any help appreciated!

    sounds like some typos, so that xfce cannot interpret your group-app file anymore and restores the default. Check again with little changes...
