Please can anyone tell em if it is possible to install Programs like MS-Word on ACER Aspire ONE without necessarily using an external CD-Rom Drive? I cant get MS-Office on my Aspire One.

Assuming you have a legal product key for the CD version, why not just download a trial version from Microsoft.com and register it? Contact MS product support about the version you have.

Just use a computer with a CD/DVD Rom drive to copy the entire contents of your MS Office disk to a USB Flash drive. Insert the drive in the AAO USB port and run the installation from there.

Or if you're like me, you can set up a Network Source for the Office package on your desktop or an external drive, share it on your network and install it from there.
