I found a japanese company called princeton that makes the "smallest USB bluetooth adapter", but their website is completely in japanese (it looks exactly like the kensington piece http://us.kensington.com/html/14409.html). Anyway, people talk about keeping the dongle in the USB port, even when not using it. but it seems that they all stick out too much. I'm not expecting a flush-mount dongle (althought it would be awesome). but I'm afraid it will get snagged on something and break off. Can some of you guys that have diff versions of these things post pics of it installed on your netbook/laptop, for comparison?

Hi, I had one of these - it will stick out about 7mm from an acer one.

The IOgear sticks out about 5mm - see my post (crazy bluetooth mod) to see a modded version of this which sticks out at just 2-3mm
