Slow performace in Excel?

    So, I was doing my chemistry lab paper on excel and noticed how slow excel is running on the AA1 (for mac). There's a delay in the typing which is really annoying when you're trying to write something at midnight.

    Does anyone have the same problem or is it just me and the craps i install on the mini-macbook =P.

    Which version? Anything prior to Office 2008 for Mac is PowerPC binary code and has to run in emulation on Intel hardware. I suspect that would make it slower than molasses in January on the AAO.

    it is Office 2008, maybe i was the template of the chem report that was making excel running slow..
