Sleep function for osx.

    I cannot get the machine to sleep when the lid is closed and when sleep is selected. It shuts down. Is there any fix? I am using Kalyway 10.5 and have replaced the kernel with the apple vanilla kernel. I have also upgrade to 10.5.6. I have tried insomniax. It doesn't work.

    Well I guess chuck is having a bad day....

    The short answer is no not yet. That is a widely reported issue for all of the OSX distro's. There are several who are working the issue. I'm sure we'll see a fix someday....

    i am using the ipc distro and they have a hibernate fix for it. the only problem is when you wake the pc again the sound dissappears... you can find the link on here, i think the title is installing ipc distro (redirect)
