Should the power cable be plugged all the time?

    Just one question for those who knows a lot about notebooks. Which is better overall in terms of battery life and other things:

    1. Plug the power cable all the time when using AA1 at home, or
    2. Plug the power cable only when the battery is almost drained?

    I work in tech support and I wish I could just send links like that to my clients most times.

    To the OP: I only plug mine in when its getting closed to drained. Otherwise what is the point of having the freedom of a laptop? I have the 6 cell which affords some more time away from the plug.
