How do i make my shortcut keys working in Ubuntu?

I have a samsung NP300 E5X-S01 IN laptop with windows 7 and ubuntu running fine on it.

I have shortcut keys for brightness, sound, touchpad, fan and wifi out of which the last two are not working on ubuntu. I have the latest ubuntu 12.10 beta 64-bit installed,The shortcut keys are working fine on windows 7.

Should I install some drivers for the shortcut keys to work on ubuntu?
    Where do i get it?
    please help.
    :)
