    hey guys,
so I do a lot of school work on this lovely netbook for long periods of time, and I go on it nearly 24/7. and I begin to realize that my keyboard is seriously wearing out a lot do to my typing. Has this happened to anyone's aspire one yet?
I am a so-so speed touch typer, usually from 60-70wpm.

Re: has anyone experienced shiny keyboard?

typical of keyboards in general. My dell/Acer laptops all have this.

The lettering on keyboards are just of of being stickers, so they will wear off eventually. Just hope you have your keyboard memorized by then. :D

Can only confirm. I'm using two laptops - both have the same "issue". AA1 is following them...

Its a sign of age and experience...your machine should be humbled to be used so much. :D
Even more so if your One has more shiny spots than your desktop/bigger laptop.

This used to happen to me all the time on my keyboards, laptops.. you name it.. if it has a keypad its worn out on me,
the only this that slows it down that i find is.. it might sound a little weird..
but try using the girlfriends clear nail varnish, it just coats the key and the shiny ness of it will wear out then you key will be perfect =P

    happy days =]

I guess, I'm not a fast touch typer because my keyboard is all fine. ;)
