Hi, thought this info might come in useful to some, I have just bought an aspire one with linpus on, this is what i did to enable the advanced menu on right click, change the root (administrator) password and share files over a wired network.

    Right click menu

Open a terminal (linux's version of the DOS prompt) by clicking File - My Documents then File - Terminal. Type:

    xfce-setting-show

Click “Desktop - Behaviour” and tick “Show desktop menu on right click”.

Changing root password without knowing it already :)

    In terminal type:

    sudo su

then you will be logged in as root, type:

    passwd

then enter your new password twice, it may tell u its not a good password but just ignore it, it will still work.

you can now install d3lphin, r(for the networking) right click on the main desktop, and click system then add/remove software.

you will be prompted for the new password you just created

in the window click search and type do3phin, install d3lphin then run it by right clikcing on the desktop and going to system - D3lphin

    hope this helps someone
