I have a pretty standard Aspire One (Linux version) with a 16GB SD card in the left-hand slot.

Thunar file manager reports "My Disk" as 15.7GB free of 22GB, but attempting to copy anything into it (e.g. through dragging onto "My Disk" whilst in Thunar) results in failing through not enough disk space; the error message indicates that the attempted write to /mnt/home/filename fails due to "No space left on device".

If I go to command line, the /media/EXPSD16GB/ directory is reported to be a read-only file system.

    What's going horribly wrong?
