Seeing the windows xp partiton in windows 7

    when i am in windows xp i can see the partition of the drive that i have for windows 7 but when i am in windows 7 i go to my computer and the only thing there is the partition that windows 7 is on. this is really annoying because i would like to copy some of my stuff from xp to windows 7 but i cant do it.

    Did you try to turn on file sharing in XP? Do you have your user as "Private" on XP?

    I know nothing about W7 but had the same problem with Vista. I have not Used Vista in over a year and forgot how I fixed it :( I will probably remember at like 4am or something lol.

    Other then that, why don't you just drag and drop your files from XP to W7 partition?

    yeah i ended up doing that but its just annoying when i remember something i for got i then have to re-boot my machene nd go into xp and move the file and the re-boot and go back into w7

    but i will try that sharing think next time i go into the xp partition. when i am setting the sharing thingy do i just share the whole drive?
