    Hi!

Now my AAO finally works really good and now I'm looking for a storage expension.

I've found some interesting SD(HC) cards, but I'm concerned about the read/write speed.
What speed do I need, when I want to install programms on the SD card?

    thx 4 help

SD cards are typically graded in classes: 2, 4 and 6. These numbers correspond to the minimum write speed in normal usage, so 2MB/s, 4MB/s and 6MB/s. Seeing the prices are very low (~US$30 for 8GB) I would definitely choose the class 6 card. The read speeds are roughly 20-30MB/s. Good luck!

I bought a no-name class 6 SDHC card (4 GB), and I'm only getting 10 MB/s with hdparm. Not sure if it's because of the card or the AAO's card reader.
