Hi all. I just finished replacing a cracked LCD screen with an LG replacement unit but it's stuck on dim. As if there's no backlight. The backlight comes on really bright when first powered up though, but from the initial splash screen on it appears as if it's off. The screen is just barely usable in Windows at it's current brightness. The Fn keys do nothing, not even display the slider. The old screen was not this dim, but I don't recall if the Fn keys worked. When I try to hook up the old screen again to see if I just broke the cable, it doesn't work at all now. Is it more likely that I broke the cable? If so, anybody know where I can get one? The part number is Foxconn DD0ZG5TH100 (I think) but can't find it on the Foxconn site.
