Just installed Acrobat 9 (full version) into my Aspire One, and while trying to scan documents, the scan dialog box is taller than the screen display. As a consequence, the clickable part of the dialog box is hidden below the status bar, making it impossible to scan direct into Acrobat. There seems to be no way to change the aspect ratio, or change the size of the scan dialog box. Are there others out there who have been successful at scanning into Acrobat?

    Regards,

The lowish resolution of the AAO has caused similar problems for other users. There is three possible solutions. 1. If you're using Windows 7 there is a registry hack for DisplayScaling search the forums for DisplayScaling and you will find the information needed to apply the hack and get higher resolutions. 2. If you're using Windows XP, there are modified display drivers floating around that enable higher resolution. 3. If all else fails, just use an external monitor when your scanning and use the monitors better resolutions.
