Ok, I have a sata 320 gig HD on my Acer Aspire. I installed a IDE HD, as the mobo has a IDE connection. The mobo isn't recognizing the IDE HD. The Sata is my main HD, the IDE will be for storage, pic's,music, etc. Do I have to change something in the bios, as I checked the bios and didn't see anything that I'm familiar with, as this is my first pc with sata hd's.

Sata and Ide not playing nice with each other is a known problem for most computers.
