Safe programme that shows the storage space taken by files on laptop?

    Hi,
    Please advise on safe software that can be downloaded, and shows what is the size of folders on the laptop?
    At the moment, you have to click each folder and go "properties", or hover the mouse over the folder and wait several seconds.....is there software which can show a load of folders and with the MB or GB of storage space that they take?
