I just turned on my laptop - Aspire E1-571. I got to the command prompt, put in the resource cd, powered down and then rebooted. Nothing. The dvd is operating, but is not installing. Is there a prompt I need to enter?

What operating system are you using?

Press F2 at the same time of turning on,this will take you to the motherboard
settings. Scroll over to the boot menu choose boot from cd/dvd. Then choose exit and save.
The next time you boot your computer will boot and load the dvd.

It' seems to be a late model laptop , if you are using windows 7 why is your system not loading and why do you need the resource cd. What are you wishing to do?
