replacing hd on laptop

    Welcome to the laptop forums site

    Taking a look at Youtube it looks like its a standard SATA 2.5” laptop hard drive.

    So it should fit

    To replace the hard drive its a simple case of opening the “middle” section flap on the back of your laptop, remove the battery first.

    Here's a link to some software that will transfer your data over to your new hard drive.

    Use the migrate option.

    I downloaded the software and I don't see the migration option. on there.

    It's under the wizard MENU and there's a blue migrate icon just under the dynamic disc option

    It says migrate os to ssd/hd.

    The hd part is for hard drives

    I did the free edition and the screen above is what is shows. It doesn't show anywhere about migration.
