replacing hd on laptop

I need to install a new hard drive to my laptop and i needed to know if this one is compatible with my laptop:

Also how do I put information on the new hard drive? Sorry never don't this before.

Taking a look at Youtube it looks like its a standard SATA 2.5” laptop hard drive.

So it should fit

To replace the hard drive its a simple case of opening the “middle” section flap on the back of your laptop, remove the battery first.

Here's a link to some software that will transfer your data over to your new hard drive.

Use the migrate option.

I downloaded the software and I don't see the migration option. on there.

It's under the wizard MENU and there's a blue migrate icon just under the dynamic disc option

It says migrate os to ssd/hd.

The hd part is for hard drives
