One option is to get a 1.8" HDD, another is the ZIF-CF adapter and fast CF card.

The cost no object option is perhaps this, a 32GB or 64GB 1.8" pata ZIP SSD from Samsung:

You are looking at nearly 40MB/s write and 60 MB/s read speeds here. Unfortunately its the same size as a 1,8" HDD, i.e. bigger than the one preinstalled in the 110L. But just as you can secure a 1.8" HDD in there with a little double sided tape, I'm sure an enterprising modder could get the 64GB SSD in there too.

Datasheets on 1.8 and 2.5" Samsung SSDs: (80MB/s write, 100MB/s reads...)

If cost is no object, get the huge SSD's, I know I would if it was no object for me...
The max CF you can get is I think 32GB, and a 300x one will cost loads, so may as well just get the SSD.

Samsung's are 40pin. That's what the Samsung website says anyway, for all the current models. Maybe the Newegg spec is a typo.

    Here, count 'em: :D
