Hi I have just purchased a Levano Idea pad 3 with 4gb ram 128 ssd. I have purchased further ram and a 1tb ssd but am unsure whether to clone ssd then remove or just remove and replace ssd.
Reason for this is that the laptop is new and have just booted up to test and works fine with win 10 etc, I therefore do not need to backup any personal info etc.
If I just replace Ssd the restart laptop will it auto set up Ssd and the install windows and the original Levano firmware and apps leaving the laptop in the purchased state.

    Thanks

You need bootable media with Windows, because recovery data is on your old SSD. Better clone it
