As the topic says, I have a AOA110 with a 16gb SSD. Is it possible to replace the stock SSD with a harddrive? Either from another Aspire One or another vendor. Thanks for anyone with any answers.

You should be able to. I replaced the 8GB SD card in my Aspire One with a Toshiba 1.8" ZIF hard drive. There should be plenty of posts on these forums about ti as that is where I got all the infomation from.... :)

Hi, that's good news. Do you know whether I could use an hdd from an iPod? Is it the same connector?

    Thanks in advance, Stuee

You can use HDD from iPod as long as it's ZIF. AFAIK there are different versions of HDDs installed in iPods as well. Everything below 60GB should be ZIF...
