    Hi

I need to power up an Acer Aspire One netbook remotely (possibly over the network) while it still has it's lid down, so I can log into it via ssh (running a unix). Is there any management feature in the chipset that will allow me to power the system up via any one of the ports the Acer Aspire One has (usb, 10/100 ethernet, etc ...)? I couldn't find anything like WoL in the BIOS, or "Power On After A/C restored" like some computers have, so it looks like there's no way to do this by BIOS configuration.

Note: I want to power the system up from a 'cold' state, i.e not from "standby".

    Thanks in Advance,
    S.
