Re-install win8 after win 10 left blank screen

    Hi , i'm new to this forum , but hope I canget an answer to my problem. My hp laptop will not boot since windows ten upgrade and I want to put windows 8 back on.I have tried all methods to get the boot disc to run , with no success. I have managed to get to command prompt but could really do with someone explaining how I get the installation disk to run via prompt as my knowledge here is a bit limited. Can anyone guide me please.

    Welcome to the laptop forums site

    You need to get into the bios, and instruct it to boot from the place
    where you have the the setup disk I.e a dvd.

    Try POWER ON THEN PRESSING Esc fast many times TO GET INTO THE BIOS.

    Your dvd should automatically boot without any instructions then.

    This program will help you obtain systems disks given your having problems.

    It's best to update from windows 8 to 10 simply clicking on the setup icon on the dvd
    when you are in windows 8..

    Another thing for you to try is to start your computer in safe mode then uninstall windows 10
