I experience problems under XP when I insert 4GB SD card into the right-hand side card reader.
The SD card works fine under my laptop also with XP and under Mac OS X it reads/writes fine too.
So the card isnt the problem.

When I plug it in my AAO it gets recognized ok (at least most of the time) but when I want to access it it takes forever and most of the time XP just freezes.
Do I need to install certain drivers? Did anybody experienced the same kind of problems?

I installed the latest XP drivers from the Acer site.
The right SD slot still doesnt work but the left slot now works.
However, when I do a shutdown or a sleep while the SD card is inserted XP it freezes :-(

As far as I know, the left side SD slot is only for expanding memory (the original AAO's were SSD 8gig drives) and were not designed to be a "card reader" as such. My right side slot reads my SD cards from my camera with no problems which is one of the reasons I bought it. I don't have a card larger than 2gig, so I don't really know how large a capacity card it will read.

I solved the problem by installing different drivers from Richo.
I dont know what the problem was in the end but now it works like a charm.
I run a regular 4GB SD on the left hand side.

I've had a 16GB SD card in the right slot with no problem. I think it also works in the left slot, but I'll have to check to make sure.
