No bootable device -- Please restart system
This is what is on my screen after two months of working just fine with Win 8 system? :(

No bootable device means the the laptop isn't seeing a hard drive. That tells me that the hard drive is bad or isn't seated properly. Does your laptop have a CD/DVD writer/player? If so, make sure you don't have a CD or DVD inserted. You should get into your BIOS and check your boot order. If you see your hard drive listed there, place it as the first bootable drive and reboot.

If you have windows 8 then Turn off your laptop, turn on again and tap the "F8" key every second until a start up menu appears, then follow the instructions on screen,
a warning though if you go for the "Back to factory Settings" then this will take some time, the best option is a "Refresh"
