PPTP/VPN Connection

Hello,

I am aware that there are several threads covering this topic but I still need further clarification.

My university provides me with a gateway/server, a username and a password. Nothing else.

I understand that the module ppp_mppe is required and possibly tun. I also know how to obtain these modules, insert them, etc.

So, is there a decent GUI available to configure and establish a connection to the VPN? If not what is the best way to connect?
