I thought it may be an idea to open a thread where users can post their 'Vista Experience Index Scores' and their hardware configuration. :D

    My rig is :
    A150AB
    Vista Ultimate (Eternity 2009 edition)
    120GB HardDrive
    1.5GB RAM

    Score:
    Processor: 3.0
    Memory (RAM): 4.4
    Graphics: 3.9
    Gaming Graphics: 2.7
    Primary Hard Disk: 5.3

I'm actually really quite suprised that it got such high ratings

    Please post your results ;)

Probably won't see *too* much variation on anything here from anyone. Most should likely be within 0.1 of one another.

    Acer Aspire One AOA150
    Windows Vista Home Premium SP1
    120GB HDD
    1.5GB RAM

    Windows Experience Index score:
    Processor: 3.0
    Memory (RAM): 4.5
    Graphics: 4.2
    Gaming graphics: 2.8
    Primary hard disk: 5.2

I changed the SD card I am using for my 4gb of ReadyBoost from a Class 4 to a Class 6 and my Aero Graphics score increased from 4.0 to 4.2. Everything else stayed the same.

I don't know enough about how everything works together to claim the increase is related to the SD card, nor can I really comment on how significant a 5% (assuming a linear scale) increase really is.

Maybe someone who does know could comment?

Keep your stick on the ice... (sorry, Canadian...)

runtohell, your graphics scores are very low ... you need to install the correct drivers then it will increase the performance. :D

Killer, your hard disk score is very low, even for the standard 120gb disk. Have you got the beta intel chipset drivers installed? As a comparison, I have a 320gb Scorpio Black in mine, and the disk score is 5.9.

My best Windows Experience Score under Windows 7 is 2.1, limited by the graphics score..

How are you guys getting a score greater than that?

What driver set are you using?

I should add that my Aspire is the AO150..
