How can make my once entered WLAN password permanent? Currently I need to reenter the password after every restart of the system.

If you're in Windows XP, right click on the WLAN icon, select "View All Wireless Networks" >> Change the order of preferred networks >> Add/change the properties of the network you want to automatically connect to. Make sure that the password is entered in PROPERTIES.

Okay, I am still having this issue in Linpus.

I have to type in the WEP key each time I start the machine.

Anyone any ideas on how to sort this?

    Thanks in advance.

With Linpus here the same problem. It asks every boot the WPA2 key. Have to type it 3 times before a connection is established. :?:
Hope Acer will fix this soon, or any Linux-goeroe on this forum. ;)

    *bump*

I am considering Ubuntu may be the way forward.

    Some strangeness in this Linpus.

    Anyone??
