    Evening.
Trying to reformat my ssd to fat .
Have just installed win7 on my acer and was hoping to format the drive to fat to make it run faster (this worked on xp)

Have got partition magic v8 but this is not compatible with win7. Anyone know of a similar program that is..?

    Thanks,
    Karl.

NOT sure if this will run under W7 however, if you search for "HP USB FORMAT UTILITY" on Goog you will find a nice little format util. FWIW. P. S. new to the forum and not a W7 user. Also try this.... http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm
this is compatible with VISTA and should be with W7
