has anybody tried to install pardus 2009 on an acer aspire one d50 with 120 gb harddisk

i have tried with an usb stick but while booting i get a kernel panic (something to do will kill init)

has somebody managed to get pardus working on an aspire one via unetbootin on a usb stick

    update

i have managed to install pardus 2009 but it tuns very slow

i will try to deactivate all effects and see if this improves

for now i find linux mint7 the best distro

Re: pardus 2009 - unable to install via usb stick

i have managed to install pardus 2009 on my acer one

however after rebooting i get following error

error 25 number of cylinders exceeds number in bios

does anybody know what this means ?

i never had this error before and i have tried out many distro's (ubuntu, kubuntu 9.04) - linux mint 7 (is now installed) and they never gave this error

update : i have found the error -- after rebooting i have to reboot again from usb and put grub on the harddisk according to this link
    http://en.pardus-wiki.org/Pardus:Instal ... ardus_2009

so i will let you know this weekend if i succeeded
