Works for me - I've not changed the default settings (except to enable the effect as a whole!).

Default mouse button is set in Compiz as Shift-Super-Button 1 - that's press and hold SHIFT and the 'Home' key, and click the left mouse button. Then left-click and drag and you should get flame effects in the path of the mouse cursor.

No idea whay this would be considered useful at all, but there it is!

by enabling the effect as a whole do you mean the sudo compiz-manager code or switching it on in the settings?

EDIT: oh!!, its randomly working now o.o its awesome XD
