On Screen Displays

    Feel kinda stupid but here goes. recently my on screen displays for wifi and volume have disappeared. Machine is D150-1577 XP. I searched the forums and everything says to run Launch Manager, which I have. I have also DL'd it and uninstalled/reinstalled 2 times. Any Ideas? Haven't changed anything other than normal windows updates and installing Win Live Msgr. Any help is appreciated! TIA!
