OKI Network Printer

    I would like to print from my Acer One (Linpus) on my networked OKI C5650.
    I don't mind whether it is via samba or ipp
    My printer has a fixed IP address, but the "add printer" dialogue can't "see" the printer. I have tried entering its address manually, but no luck.
    I will need pretty simple instructions - I know nothing about Linux.

    Thanks for this advice, but I got a 404 error with the address as written.
    I then tried http://192.168.2.7:631/ (using the fixed IP address allocated to my printer) but that just got the Status Page for the printer - toner levels etc. I couldn't see a way of making it actually print from there
