Newegg is selling a similar model in the US, AOA110-1626 for $350 + shipping.

    Linpus Linux Lite; Intel® Atom™ Processor N270 (512KB L2 cache, 1.60GHz, 533MHz FSB); 1GB (512MB onboard/512MB SODIMM slot) DDR2 533 SDRAM; 16GB NAND flash memory (SSD), multi-in-one card reader, SD Card reader; 8.9" WSVGA (1024 x 600) TFT display, Acer® CrystalBrite Technology; Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950; 802.11b/g WLAN, 10/100 LAN, webcam; onyx black chassis; three-cell battery.

I can't find any information about this model other than what is on the Newegg site but note only a 3-cell battery.

Bigger power capacity for the 120GB model? I guess not, I purchased my A-One-150 model, here in saudi but they only included in the box a 2200mAh battery pack. I dont know if the distributor here altered the package but all my friends here got the same battery pack eventhough we all purchased the Windows XP 120gb-model.. Like others, I was also hoping to get the higher 6-cell battery pack, butdid not. We're really quite disappointed on that ..

My AAO with 120 GB hard drive came with a 3-cell battery. It lasts only 1 hour 55 minutes using Ubuntu 8.04.1. I upgraded to a 9-cell battery and get almost 8 hours.

A friend bought an AAO with this spec on 8 Jan 2009 at Lowyat Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

    AOA 110 -Ab
    Model No: ZG5
    Linpus Linux Lite; Intel® Atom™ Processor N270, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM; 8GB (SSD), multi-in-one card reader, SD Card reader; 8.9" WSVGA (1024 x 600) TFT display, Acer® CrystalBrite Technology; Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950; 802.11b/g WLAN, 10/100 LAN

Price: RM980 (USD274) with a 4GB SD card thrown in

I think the extra RAM makes a big difference in speed.

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but what are the differences between the aoa110 and the aoa150? I thought the former had the ssd drives but noticed there is a 160gb hdd version of the aoa110 listed on a few uk etailers?

Is there some kind of tables that compares the AOA150-xxxx models? I know they all have different color/OS/battery/HDD/RAM, but which is which?

These are official? Because I have a 150GB HDD. I play 3d games with ease and its just as fast on other computers. If it moves slow its because the aao has the gpu underclocked. Use GMA booster to fix that.

    Hi,

Is there a way to tell just from the model number (eg. AOA150 Aa, AOA150 Bb, ......... AOA110, etc, etc) if an 8.9 inch aspireone is SSD loaded or a HDD loaded ?

    thanks,
