I was thinking about installing a NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 512MB on my Aspire One AO751h. Will this help improve speed and graphics for gaming etc? Also, would this drain the battery quickly? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

If you aren't going to go for the 1Gb version I wouldn't even bother. Also, if budget isn't a consideration SLI is definitely the way to go.

Also, the 3-cell and 6-cell options would limit your useful gaming time with a card like the 9800 GT, especially if you do take the SLI route. I'd suggest wiring several car batteries in series. You could build a very convenient rolling cart of some sort to move from room to room. Stairs might be a bit of a hassle, but nothing a bit of ingenuity can't overcome.

Good luck, let us know how the mod goes!

Is this really a joke? Come on, an MXM format card that is probably not much smaller than the mobo itself. What about cooling for the card? What about drawing power from the Power supply? Will it support it? And where in Gods earth are you going to put that thing in an Inch thick NETBOOK? Crazy! I'm just going to say that this thread is a joke.

it is a joke lmao -_-.. there isn't enough power for the netbook to power it along with no slot/space for it, no matter what you try, probably won't work.

Yeah, but he's going to use BOTH PCI-E slots ... duh. Might have to use one of the USB ports and the card reader, too, though.
