Num lock does not work

    I have had this laptop for a few years. Works ok, I guess, but what do I know. I am not sure where to find the Model number , its a Toshiba brand window 8.1 . My mom bought it for me, bless her soul. but since I got it the num lock does not work. Its kind of hard to return it since she got it in West Virginia and I live in Jamaica. Is it worth trying to fix or just get a new laptop.
