No WiFi Connection - Acer Aspire one D260

    Hi everyone,

    Hopefully someone here can help with this one.

    Just bought a new Acer Aspire One D260 running windows 7. Also bought a new Netgear N-300 Router. I set up the wireless router. I have 3 laptops, 2 of which had no problem with the new router.
    The new acer recognizes the connection but will not log on. I can plug it into one of the jacks on the modem and access the internet, But wi-fi will not connect.
    Its setup with wep 128 security, password was verified & correct. tried the newer drivers from acer but had same result. Also tried changing several of the adapter settings but still no go.

    Any ideas,
    I am guessing that i may have a bad wifi adapter.
