    Hello.

I recently came home for the weekend, and i bring back my Acer One to save space.

I turned it on, there was no power, so i thought it needed a charge.

So after plugging it in, and using it fine(posting from it now) i tried to see what happened if i took the power out. It turns itself off!!! Everytime i take out the power plug, the Acer One just shuts off and i have to plu it back in to use it.

I am running Ubuntu, and the status bar says that the Battery is 100% full.

Any ideas? I was thinking of getting another netbook, but this may swing my mind a little more!

Try flashing the BIOS. Instructions are on the Macles site. That's what fixed this problem on two of the AAO's members of my family have been using.
