This morning when i power-up the Aspire One SSD version, the screen says "no bootable device detected" so i go look in the bios and the status say "no device". It was working fine and the day before.

anyone know whats wrong with it? my SSD is dead?

Same problem, only that I just installed the gig of ram. Ram shows up fine in bios, but no boot devices other than the network boot are listed.

What type of RAM you've installed. On this forum you can find complains about certain type of RAM - mostly 667MHz...

Yea thats the odd thing, the stuff I put in was Kingston ddr2 533 cas 4 1.8v.

EDIT: FIXED!!! I removed the ram and it boots normally. Seems to be a general problem with kingston ram and the acer aspire one. Anyone know what ram is confirmed to work? I still want my extra gig.
