I just received my Acer from Amazon yesterday. I have deleted some of the bloatware that it came installed with, but I am still having issues connecting to the internet. Is there something I am missing? Also I accidently deleted the google toolbar, do I really need that?

    Hi,

When you say "deleted some of the bloatware", did you uninstall them via the Control Panel "Add or Remove Software", or did you just delete the files/dirs? Hopefully it was the former?

As to Google Toolbar, I uninstalled that, and it didn't seem to hurt anything.

For your internet connection problem, you probably need to provide more (detailed) info as to how you are trying to connect, and what exactly is happening.

If you're using a wireless/wifi connection, some of the Aspire One's (e.g., the D150) have a wireless switch. In my case, it's at the right/front edge of the keyboard. That switch has to be enabled, otherwise, the internal wifi card is not enabled.
