I'm in the process of looking for a new laptop. At present (and for years) I've only had a desktop always with a large screen (at the moment 25") as I like to see what I am doing..! We're having a clear out before decorating my office/2nd bedroom my wife suggested a new laptop as the desktop takes up too much room.
So I would like some help in looking for a laptop which is not slow, large hard drive (1 or 2 terrabite) perhaps as I carry a lot of playable music for my instruments. USB ports, ear phone connection, connection for my printer. not worried about weight as it will only be used at home, and so on....
    Money.... no more than £650...!!
If you are in the habit of giving some advice to someone who has only had 1 laptop in his life many years ago and knows next to nothing about them I would appreciate your help... all advice listened to....... Thank you .........

You will have to replace and upgrade the hard drive but this is a laptop I have.
It's one of the most easiest laptops to upgrade.
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-Ide...VO+320+LAPTOP&qid=1554638086&s=gateway&sr=8-4
    Standard 2.5” hard drive
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=1+tb+hard+drive+2.5"&ref=nb_sb_noss_2
    or a ssd drive.
    https://www.google.co.uk/search?tbm=shop&hl=en-GB&source=hp&biw=&bih=&q=1tb+2.5"+ssd&oq=1tb+2.5"+ssd&gs_l=products-cc.3..0.1911.1911.0.3103.1.1.0.0.0.0.77.77.1.1.0....0...1ac..34.products-cc..0.1.77.FMAms46Zn-A
    Youtube how to upgrade.

Look at the video until 1.52 mins thats how easy it is to remove the back panel.

Then look at 2.49 min it shows you how to pull the hard drive out.

You don't need to see the rest

This software will allow you to swap over all the software from one drive to the other
    just follow the wizard.

Thanks for your input, 'something back'. I'll have a good look at this one but I would really like a 17 inch but I'll take at peak at your suggestion.

If choose to find a different one then this site will help you evaluate the cpu's power/speed rating
just type in the cpu's number in the top right box
