    Hi!

Just got a new HP Pavilion 15-au118na laptop, had for about a month, works fine apart from the fact it froze twice mid use, but was fine on reboot and hasnt done that for a couple of weeks. Only issue is an annoying electronic soft of buzz or crackle/stuttering noise coming from the laptop when I scroll through a document or web page, or play video, and the speaker buzzes when music/video is loud, but not max volume. The noise is much louder when the laptop is plugged in but still there, though quieter, when not. Seems to originate from the right hand side of the laptop under the keyboard, which is the side the laptop is plugged in.

Could it be the capacitor in the battery messing with the speaker? I've built a couple of computers but don't really know any technical IT info especially with laptops. I've got the one year warranty with the laptop but hoping someone here has a solution.

    Many thanks in advance!

    Joe

Have you checked the driver? If its working fine, then i suggest you to bring it to the repair center.
