new hard new xp

    im planning to put 320gb 7200 2.5 HDD in to new d150.can anyone explane the procedure how to transfer xp from old hard on to the new one...

    280 runs great with 2gb of ram now hdd and it will be a nice little fast computer...

    There are a few methods to do this. I would copy over the entire installed Windows XP off the original drive to your new large drive using Easeus Drive Copy. Then expand the image from 160g to 320g using Easeus Partition Manager. (both programs free download from Cnet). You don't have to re-install anything you had or even have to key in the windows keys. Much better than starting from scratch trying to use the Acer backup that doesn't work all the time.
