New Bios v.3114

Be carefull, it's for Aspire One 150, and you have Aspire One 110 !

It is compatible ? Anybody try :D

I'm anwsering to myself, i flash my aspire one, nothing change

Might be small updates, like fixing the problem (supposedly caused by BIOS) with WLAN cards supported by OSX not working in OSX. Unlikely that did it for that reason, but it night inadvertently fix it.

Mine is a little bit faster on SSD Write. He pass the 15kb/s !

I don't know if it's the new bios, but i've do nothing other modifications...

I don't think I am going to upgrade the Bios or even bother to touch it. I do not want the unit to screw up on me lol.

updated, got a bit scared thinking it would **** up, but didn't. I seriously do think that the motherboards for A110 and A150 are identical with different HDD interfaces soldered on each one.

If you will look at the pictures you will notice the HD ver has a space for the ZIF socket to go, and the SD one, has a space for the SATA socket to go, so I am pretty sure they are identical.

I'm interested in trying the new bios but I would wait for feedback from you guys as to the benefits of using it before daring to mess up my unit. Please let us know any useful info. Thanks!

I flashed mines and no problems. Just took 3 minutes (from download to BIOS upgraded)

Are any of you from North America? I am worried about using a Bios made for Europe Aspire one and if there would be a ue. But I am wondering if this would help quiet the fan a bit.

Just curious, what is A110 / A150? Where do you find those numbers?

Thanks

I'd like to upgrade to the new bios. is it safe to upgrade already? any known problems so far?
