Network Cable Unplugged?

    I just bought a new Aspire One (xp 120gb) for my daughter. She was able to get online (wireless) the first day. Halfway through the second day, it knocked her offline and the icon in the toolbar says that the Network Cable is Unplugged. I played with the switch on the front and that didn't help. All of the other computers in house are connecting fine. It isnt even acknowleding there are any connections available. Yesterday I turned off the firewall and for whatever reason she was able to connect with it turned off. Today it is not connecting at all with firewall on or off. Any ideas on what the problem may be?
