Netbook Monitor Covered in White Light When Starting

    I have an Acer Aspire A150 netbook and lately it has developed a problem where if I switch it on the screen lights up in a harsh white covering the entire screen with nothing else. Sometimes the netbook boots up fine but in most cases when I switch it on it just shows the while blank screen and it would take several restarts to get the default boot screen. Since all the software on the netbook is up to date and its running the 3310 BIOS I guessed this might be a hardware problem. Thanks in advance.

    I have the same problem. When I turn it on it displays only one fourth of the screen. the other is ok. The windows logo is complete but it move the left side of the screen leaving the other fouth black. 8)
