I've used the advanced menu to install software already, but can not locate "Wish" in the package manager. Is there another place I can look for this package?

The computer comes with tclsh but curiously not wish. I need help finding this package as I'm still a newbie with both linux and this machine.

    Thanks for the help

Since you already have tcl, you have wish, automatically. I use wish to run tkoutline.tcl from the terminal. You don't need to know its location as it is in the path.

That's what I thought but it's not the case.

I get a bash wish command not found.

tclsh works fine, however. Any ideas where I can get wish. I also want make, rcs and a few other programmer tools.

I found it. Although tcl is installed by default, TK isn't. Installing TK does the trick.
