Need help ASAP computer will not boot..........

    My sister has a acer one netbook she just bought recently. About 2-3 weeks ago. No problems with it until now. She turned it on and it will not boot into windows. I cannot even get into safe mode! Here is the error in question:

    lsass.exe - unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because DNSAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem

    Any idea what is going on and how to fix it? I would like to do every thing possible with in reason to avoid reloading the OS.

    I went ahead and reloaded the OS system. No body has ever had this happen with their netbook?
