I have been a fan of HP Spectre x360 laptops since my first purchase in December 2017. I still have that laptop, but the current battery only gets about 3 hours on a full charge. (Second battery). In May 2022, I bought a new Spectre x360 with Win 11, the 2017 model could not run Win 11. After about two months, the screen grew blotches, some sort of delamination I suppose. HP repaired the problem, but after about two months the same blotches reappeared. HP repaired the problem, but the same problem reappeared again! HP then replaced the unit with another Spectre x360. Yikes, the same problem returned after about 2 months!! I gave up and didn't ask HP for any more fixes.
Now, I have the urge to get a new laptop, but I would like some advice on what brand to buy. Does HP have a handle on what was wrong with their laptop screens, or should I consider another brand.? If so, which.
