    Howdy, my first post here.

So I dropped my Aspire One earlier this week (I'm bad with all electronics like that), and it messed up the DC power jack. My roommate re-soldered the jack, which temporarily fixed the problem, but it's still somewhat loose in there, and I think I'll have to get a new jack soldered in. Unfortunately I couldn't find a jack specifically for Aspire One, after googling it, and I went through a few pages of the forum, and couldn't find anything on it either =(

So my questions are - is there a specific Aspire One jack I can buy? Is there a universal Acer jack? Should I just toss it?

Also, I previously had to open my Aspire One and take it apart, to backup data off the hdd (had to restore WinXP) - would my warranty now be voided? Do I need all of my papers that came with the laptop, or would the s/n suffice?
